Snowy Hydro expects Snowy 2.0 to create a range of business opportunities in the local region. Snowy Hydro's principal contractor for Snowy 2.0 is the Future Generation Joint Venture, a partnership between Australian construction and engineering company, Clough, with global hydropower and tunnelling specialists, Salini Impregilo, as well as Lane Construction. Future Generation is managing the project’s procurement, specialist subcontracting and workforce requirements.
